A powerhouse list of New York celebrities is expected to take over the Kit Kat Klub for a Red Cross benefit to aid victims of the Yugoslavian war.

Kirk Douglas, Dan Rather, Patricia Duff, Blaine Trump, Pat Kennedy Lawford, Ingrid Rockefeller and Andrew Cuomo are on the invite list for the May 3 event, and a host of major names is expected to provide the entertainment.

Stars of stage and screen are being asked to participate by singing, dancing, doing a dramatic reading or even waiting tables — anything to show their support.

The event is being organized by Jason Raize — who stars on Broadway as Simba in “The Lion King” — in hopes of spurring people to call the Red Cross’ 1-800-HELP NOW line with donations.

Among those who have already signed on for the event is columnist Art Buchwald, who will work that evening as a dishwasher.

“I washed more dishes than any one man in the army,” says the humorist. “I’d be glad to wash dishes that night.”
